My father's favorite book is "How the Steel Was Tempered". It was first published in 1932 and my father read it at the age of 15. The book made my father both sad and happy and he found the ideal for his life thanks to it. The book was written by writer Nikolai Alekseyevich Ostrovsky. The main character is Pavel Korchagin, a stubborn teenager but also an extremely brave soldier.
