First, there is a lack of Interest in folk culture. Xoan singing has been handed down from generation to generation. However, not many young people want to learn folk singing, and older performers often have no one to pass down their skills. Second, there are limited performance opportunities. Artists may have difficulty finding places to perform live.

It is necessary to collect and restore old versions of xoan. It is also important to record or publish them so that future generations can listen to the recordings or read the song collections. This problem can be solved by organising xoan singing competitions or concerts. In addition, there should be more live xoan performances in public places, such as pedestrian streets or historic sites visited by many tourists. This way, xoan singing will reach wider and newer audiences.

Hát Xoan là một bộ phận quan trọng của văn hóa Việt Nam. Nó đã trở thành Di sản văn hóa thế giới của UNESCO vào năm 2017. Tuy nhiên, loại hình âm nhạc này hiện đang gặp phải nhiều vấn đề và chúng ta cần tìm ra những giải pháp hữu hiệu để bảo tồn nó.

Đầu tiên, đó là sự thiếu quan tâm đến văn hóa dân gian. Hát Xoan được lưu truyền từ đời này sang đời khác. Tuy nhiên, không nhiều người trẻ muốn học hát dân ca, và các nghệ nhân lớn tuổi thường không có ai truyền nghề. Thứ hai, có những cơ hội thực hiện hạn chế. Các nghệ sĩ có thể gặp khó khăn trong việc tìm địa điểm biểu diễn trực tiếp.

Việc sưu tầm và khôi phục các bản xoan cũ là rất cần thiết. Điều quan trọng nữa là ghi âm hoặc xuất bản chúng để các thế hệ tương lai có thể nghe các bản ghi âm hoặc đọc các tuyển tập bài hát. Vấn đề này có thể được giải quyết bằng cách tổ chức các cuộc thi hát xoan hoặc các buổi hòa nhạc. Ngoài ra, cần có nhiều hơn nữa các buổi biểu diễn xoan trực tiếp ở những nơi công cộng, như phố đi bộ hay các khu di tích lịch sử được nhiều du khách ghé thăm. Bằng cách này, hát xoan sẽ đến được với nhiều khán giả hơn và rộng hơn.
